Things To Do
There are numerous attractions for those wanting to enjoy the historic Windsor and its beautiful surroundings.
You can find out more about them here :
The Long Walk
Taking time out in Windsor should include a walk down The Long Walk you will need to bring your comfy shoes, it’s 2.64 miles to the Copper Horse and the round trip can take between 2-3 hours. Once you are at the Copper Horse you will have a magnificent view of Berkshire and on a good day you might even be able to see the iconic Wembley Stadium steel balustrades.
The Thames Riverside
If you feel like spending some time on the river, The Thames meanders through Windsor, and there are restaurants overlooking the waterside, places to picnic and a range of boat trips which can be booked.
Both of our properties are in the heart of Windsor, and you are only minutes’ walk from Windsor Castle and the bustling high street, packed with major high street retailers, as well as some quirky independent stores. You will be amazed at the range of restaurants; you can literally choose from most continents around the world and find some thing for most pallets.
